Worship Facilities Expo Supports NSPIRE Outreach Program of Atlanta

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 8, 2010 - Framingham, MA - Over $5,000 has been donated to Atlanta charities, including a cash donation of just over $3,500 made to the NSPIRE Outreach Program by Worship Facilities Expo (WFX), the leading educational and tradeshow event where church leadership teams connect with tools and technology to create meaningful spaces and powerful worship experiences.  In addition, WFX sponsored two participants from Soundz Academy, a professional Audio/Video certification program within the NSPIRE program, to attend the event to take advantage of the many networking and training opportunities.

“’Darkness is not a force, but a condition when the light is not shining.’ I want to thank Jim Wagner and WFX for making Atlanta brighter with their generosity and compassion. This donation will go directly to assist NSPIRE in aiding those coming from homelessness and domestic violence,” states Pastor Gregg Kennard. "Two of our clients who were previously homeless are in our audio/video training program. They received complimentary passes to the conference and were wowed as they saw the career possibilities that exist in this industry. Thanks, WFX."

NSPIRE is an outreach program working with homeless men and women to support them in cultivating the skills and tools necessary to leave the streets behind for good. NSPIRE focuses on employment, housing, education, counseling, clothing food and nutrition, physical fitness and health, transportation, personal coaching and hygiene.  However, the cornerstone of the program is the faith-based mentoring program. Led by Pastor Gregg Kennard, the program emphasizes living a God-led life, valuing oneself and making choices and decisions through goal setting and prayer.

“We feel fortunate that we were able to organize this fundraising event for NSPIRE, an organization that is so dedicated to helping others,” said Jim Wagner, General Manager of EH Events. “We wanted to give back to the Atlanta community as thanks for hosting WFX for the past two years.”

WFX is presented by Church Production and Worship Facilities Magazines and EH Events, and sponsored by Christianity Today International.

The 2011 Worship Facilities Expo is scheduled to take place November 8-9, 2010, at the Dallas Convention Center, Dallas, Texas.  For information about WFX, visit www.wfxweb.com.  For information on exhibiting opportunities, contact Laura McDermott at 508-663-1500 x267 or lmcdermott@ehpub.com.
