WFX Dallas 2011 Announces Partnership with AIA IFRAA
The American Institute of Architects Interfaith Forum on Religious Art and Architecture to Create Unique Educational Program at WFX Dallas 2011 Catering to Architects and Pastors
Framingham, MA – May 12, 2011 – Worship Facilities Conference and Expo (WFX) announced an agreement with The American Institute of Architects (AIA) International Forum on Religious Art and Architecture (IFRAA) to create a series of AIA accredited educational sessions at WFX Dallas 2011, taking place November 9-11 in Dallas, Texas. This uniquely designed program will attract senior church leaders and architects from Catholic, Protestant and Non-Denominational affiliations and provide education and discussion on the role of architecture and theology on building design.
“At WFX, we recognize and value the incredible variety of ways that churches express their unique God inspired visions for their buildings,” says Jim Wagner, General Manager of EH Events. “We are honored that the leadership team at IFRAA desired a partnership with WFX, Church Production and Worship Facilities Magazines to create such a unique opportunity for dialogue and instruction. It is the heart of everyone involved in a building design project, whether it is the pastor, building committee, architect, and builder, to create buildings that serve the kingdom of God. These educational sessions at WFX will create discussion and relationships which otherwise would not occur.”
Now in its seventh year, WFX is presented by Church Production and Worship Facilities Magazines and EH Events in conjunction with The American Institution of Architects Interfaith Forum on Religion Art and Architecture Knowledge Community, and sponsored by Christianity Today International. The event brings together thousands of church and industry leaders and hundreds of exhibitors from around the world to guide facilities and technology investments and opportunities for houses of worship.
WFX Dallas 2011 will offer two dynamic keynote presentations, more than 45 Conference sessions, over 40 Hands-On Training classes, over 200 exhibitors on the expo floor, behind-the-scenes church tours, and invaluable networking opportunities.
Registration for WFX Dallas 2011 will be available in June. To be notified when registration opens and to receive show information and updates, please click here.
